It is Made in a small independent bakery near Loch Lomond in Argyll, Scotland. Crystal’s is constantly referred to as the “Shortbread that tastes just like Granny’s”, probably because it is run by husband and wife Chrystal and Rory Mackinlay on the banks of Loch Lomond who have perfected a recipe that has been in Chrystal’s family for generations.
