Festive ordering

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year at The Mart Farm Shop. We stock everything you need to make this season magical, from trees to turkeys. Yuletide gives us a time to pause and reflect on the important things in life. What better way to do this than over a fine meal with family and friends? But Chrimbo isn’t the only festive time we get excited about. We love Easter, Chinese New Year, and Burns Night, too.

Wishing you a very merry and stress-free Christmas

With our help, you’ll have no need to stress about Christmas food ordering. We’ll get you in the holiday spirit with a wide range of meats, delicious cheeses, home-made side dishes, and mouth-watering desserts. As always, we carefully select the very best produce for every occasion.

Our meat products are free range, locally-sourced and organic where possible. We stock turkey, duck, goose, chicken, venison, lobster, pork, lamb, beef, pheasant, and salmon. You can rest assured that the farmers with whom we work are caring and knowledgeable. They raise their animals on natural foods, under clean and healthy conditions. (Our order cut-off date for turkey and chicken is 1 December).

While ordering your meat selection, why not take all the stress out of Christmas catering?  This makes for the perfect Christmas dinner bundle with easy timings. Our quality side dishes are the perfect accompaniment for a jolly feast. Our counters heave with crispy roast potatoes, succulent stuffing and gloriously puffy Yorkshires. For those of you who want to add a bit of spice, we also create more adventurous dishes – but don’t worry, Gran will still love them. You’ll have the convenience of a ready-made Christmas dinner, with the taste of home cooking. If you want to cook your own sides, we stock a full range of vegetables (seasonal and non-seasonal). We have everything from Brussel sprouts through to carrots and potatoes.

To end things off, our dessert and pudding offerings are irresistible. You can’t go wrong with timeless classics like sumptuous stollen with marzipan, or Christmas cakes bursting with flavour. Because we love experimenting in the kitchen, we also offer a couple of modern desserts – all with a merry flourish, of course.

Once you’ve taken care of the food, it’s time to deck your home for the festive season. You can turn to us for the finest decorations. We select the plumpest of real fir trees and gorgeous garlands and wreaths. All our decorations come Santa-approved.

Tempted? It’s never too early to start planning a Christmas to remember. Our full ordering service is always available, but for turkey and chicken orders the cut off is 1 December.

Our Easter, Chinese New Year and Burns Night offerings

If you’re one of those grinches who believe August is too early to start playing Jingle Bells, you’re still in the right place. The Mart Farm Shop celebrates many occasions year-round. We’re always ready to celebrate!

For starters, we’ve got your Easter entertaining covered. Cooking up an Easter feast (complete with hot cross buns and Easter Simnel cake) need not cause chaos in the kitchen. Let us help with our assortment of delectable dishes covering all your meat, seafood, vegetables and dessert needs.

Chinese New Year holds a special place in the hearts of many East Lintoners. Get your year off to a lucky start: tuck into steam-fried prawn bao buns, chilli pork spare ribs, hot and sour soup and more.

We also supply beautiful, traditional Chinese decorations. You’ll find red lanterns and couplets, Chinese paper cut-outs, and New Year’s Paintings. Don’t forget the red envelopes of lucky money to wish the children in your life well. If you’re keeping things simple, why not take home a fortune cookie to share with a friend?

Finally, we could never forget that famous institution of Scottish life: Burns Night. Your Burns Supper may be a gathering of a few close friends, or it may be a formal banquet. Either way, the star attraction of Burns Night must naturally be the haggis. We stock haggis worth every second of its piping in, its address and the toast to the haggis. We’re also proud of our excellent bashit’ neeps, champit tatties, and clootie dumplings to finish the meal. To keep the immortal memory of Rabbie Burns alive, we are hoping that this year we will get an alcohol license meaning we will be able to stock whisky fit for connoisseurs.

Year-round, we’re here to support you and your family in creating memories for life. If there’s a special festive occasion you need help with, don’t hesitate to pop in for a catch up, or drop us an email at any time.
